Everyone loves a cozy pair of socks, and knitting socks with a lace pattern is a fun addition. The lace pattern is easy to work and you may even find it easy to memorize.
Pattern is written for a US women’s 8 shoe size, but can easily be adjusted to fit a different size.
Knitting skills used in this pattern: provisional cast on, knit, purl, slipped stitches, slip slip knit, purl 2 together, knit 2 together, short rows, yarn over, and pass slipped stitch over.
Yarn requirements: 400 - 500 yards (366 - 457 m) of light fingering weight yarn. Pattern is shown in a handdyed superfine alpaca yarn.
Gauge: 9 stitches = 1 inch in stockinette stitch.
Needle size: US 1 - 2.25 mm.
